I'm sure this has come up in the past, but went thru two dozen pages and couldn't find anything. I'm wanting to get a pair of big boards. Anyone have recommendations for brand/size or DIY plans. Also, recommended mast reels?

Please check the thread started by Fred on 5/1/16. Amish Outfitter boards are mentioned. I would add Aurora Lites( pricey but good). Many of us make our own. I made mine out of Azek board. This is a building material which handles much like wood, it floats, and is impervious to water. It can also be ordered in board lengths like wood. I made mine out of this material and it floats just deep enough in the water to pull hard without having to add ballast. I believe the two boards I mentioned above are made of this material of something similar. Hope this helps.

Check with Capt. Jim, Skipper9. I believe I read that his father makes them and I am sure they are well designed with all the experience of the Eyehunter crew behind them.

I would second Skipper9 boards! He will send you the plans to make them or you can buy a set from him. I've been pulling mine for 5 years and love them!
