    The 1/2oz and under law is so migratory birds don't eat them. Split shots n such. Same reason steel shot must be used for waterfowl. (If anyone was wondering). I do miss the lead though. Hate these new alloy splitshot.

    Go to Canada or PA or OH, you can buy them there. I have never used a tin splitshot nor will I ever. They SUCK!!

    Yeah I'm still using what's left of what I had kickin around. I've bought the tin ones before and would rather tie a rock to my line. Lol

    Default Rods

    I run big boards on the big lake and inline-boards when im inland. I use 8' medium action Shimano TDR. I use the okuma 20's also. Like they said it is a must to have all rods on one side of the boat the same because of small fish. It took me a season to figure that out!!! Those Shimano TDR can be picked up for 30 bucks a piece just about anywhere.
