brest bay fermi areas have been super good...wend i fished solo and got a single, a triple, and a double in that order...rain/wind now will probably mess things up for awhile.

it depends on which basin your fishing for the best colors...west basin colors are not the best for central or eastern...pink panties, purple demon, bloody nose, helmut uv, copper watermelon, cat...

hard to say what the long range forecast will be to make good ice...if anything there may be locked in ice at put-n-bay for a short time...crane creek, catawba doubtfull but could get a short window...

report on michigan sportsman about guy ran bandits for 2 and a half hours nothing... put reapers on and had a triple a double and another double ..some days they like/want that shad profile

fyi your not allowed to sell any mounted fish either...i found that out when trying to sell a couple mounted 10 lbers...ok in mich...sold them to a guy who has them in his cabin overlooking the saint...

i just use a 5 ft leader with the with the weight connected to the end of main line...i've lost a few weights using the 50-50 method...you can try both ways on certain days one works better than the...

mcormicks beer batter and kellogs corn flake crumbs...dip the fish in the wet beer batter then roll in flake crumbs...one thing i like about this is you can coat all your pieces and let them set for...

one well known walleye guy said troll as fast as the fish will tolerate the speed..while going close to 2 mph will work sometimes the slower speeds will prevail most of the time...in the cold water...

michigan stinger has 4 sizes...scorpion, standard, stingray and magnum... silver streak has some nice colors in their jr. size which is the same size as the scorpions.

out of huron this aug the best for me has been cat-dog, lami cakes, helmut trans, blond chick, moonshine bloody nose and one i've heard on the radio couple times is a pink with yellow dots..i think...

pay whatever amount you want for the radio but get a good 8 ft. antenna...3 and 5 ft antenna's wont cut it.
