The major mayfly hatch usually occurs in mid June.But mayfly come out of mud.One place they don't come out is rocky bottom.So try fishing those areas.

Depends on the conditions and how deep the fish are.Some days the inside boards are catching and others the outside boards.But I also run that first board around 50 ft away from boat too.
