Going to try SE of G can, with some shiners, spreaders and no bling. Thursday and Friday is looking good, will bring some crawlers to do some drifting if the gold will not get it on.
Gut pile reports coming soon too.
Be safe,
Water Dog

VERY BOUNCY, however managed these yellow gold, 1 throw back, and farm animals. Gut pile shows May flies, Port Clinton got slammed and my boat was full of them.

Thanks for letting everyone know. I'm hoping to soon see your photo of 30! Maybe after the mayflies are done?

SE of G can, what a view!
started early to beat the heat.
4 head boats working the area, many drifters and many trollers.
set up for perch and managed one and some sheep head.
pulled anchor after about 2 hours and drifted with worm harness and spreaders. 2 walleye one short and one keeper.
for the perch I have the candy (shiners).
the light wind helped to manage the heat , did see one boat with some guys cooling off in the lake.
the mayflies were not too bad and the water looks clear.
there still seems to be a lot of mayflies just off the bottom.
back soon, the heat keeps this dog on the porch.

thank you for your posts WD.
I enjoy them. Rickerd
We were just north of you this morning Dog. It was the best morning of casting this year. Had our 2 man limit by 8:45. Kept everything over 16 with a few going 21. Probably threw back 20 in the 14-15" range. A couple rather large cats and a nice perch. Gold Erie deeries close to the bottom. Fast crank the let it sink. Most hits while sinking. Beautiful morning with the breeze. Off to catch pickerel for 10 days then back to try the perchin.
I believe Saturday was full moon. I'm not sure why but I never do good perching on full moon or few days following the full moon.
So when you say G can is that the one close to Middle sister or the one at the firing zone?
