I got them in that area on Wednesday in 23 feet. But there are a bunch of walleye hanging around probably chasing them. I trolled east of Kelly's Friday and couldn't buy a big walleye to many 15" talked to a guy cleaning his fish (Walleye) and they limited 1 mile out of west harbor. Nothing seems normal this year.

BADBOARDS noting is normal for sure!
H Can today 100 yards east, 24 yellow gold on ice, gut pile report will follow cleaning,
3 hours today, some boats in the area but they did not stay long.
The sheep head were there in force!
(ate a lot of my shiner golden mix)

Attachment 8890Here is the gut pile report for those 24 nice yellow gold perch. Gobies, spiny fleas, and mayflies for the yellow gold menu. The gals have 1 inch egg sacks and they are eating good.

20 more E of H can , 3 hours today, spreaders shiner golden mix, no BUGS, nice swing, 4 sheep head and had 3 yellow gold educated but not harmed.
These fish are nice and chunky and they are
eaten good in the western basin

Still perch down by “H” can?
I’m going out early. Probably try for walleye early, then switch to perch around 7:00 ish. Going to start in my regular spot south of rattlesnake. I will post a quick update tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Always pull a few at worst. My guess is we are still a few weeks away from consistent fish. I got some shrimp getting stinky in a brine out back. Other than that I’m throwing cut frozen shiners.

perch are at H can, 14 today two were 11 inches, sheep head 3, spreaders goldens, 100 yards east of H can, very light winds, almost no swing, No Bugs. 9:30 till noon.
From the looks of it many boats were south of G can.
The range police were out today.
The early perch are nice and chunky.

nice swing until the wind died and then it was time to go 2 hours today, need to go early to beat the heat, back Friday weather permitting, will try to go to G can again.
Range police were there.
It was a three bottle water day.
