hey everyone i am farely new to the site and am wanting some advice on boat size on lake erie for spring walleye jigging. i live down by mansfield ohio so it is a 90 minute to a 2 hour drive to get to the lake. i have a 17 foot crestliner with a 9 hp motor and use it for mainly local lakes but want to try for some walleye. is there anywhere that would be safe to try for walleye preferably close to shore. maybe crane creek or maumee bay area. any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks and good fishing....
