Thanks!
You guys are great! I'm in Maine for two weeks for work unfortunately but can't wait to get back home and hit the lake again now! Really appreciate your help. Good luck out there.

Back in action
Hey guys,
Well, Im back from Maine and ready to fish. Should get out Thursday this week. Spent a pile of money on Silver Streak worm harness materials and am ready to go. Wondered what colors were working for you guys lately?

We have caught fish on a lot of different colors this year. More importantly is to get those baits on or just above the fish. Use your sonar and get'er done.

I'm on it!
Lots of colors is what I have! I'm going to throw the tackle box at em! You guys still running 30 jets and 4-5 color lead? Going to launch out of Sturgeon and start at Meyers. I'll let you know how I do.

Victory!!
Guys, I'm sure there were boats on the lake today that boxed more fish than the Harsh Reality.... but none of those fisherman were happier than I was. We only caught two fish but they were 5.5 and 6.8 lbs each. I was thrilled. 30 jets 110 feet back off the boards with pink/purple/black harnesses on copper blades. Both fish off canada border in 50 feet of water. 1.7 mph on gps. We were out until 1:30 or so and had a great time. Going back tomorrow for more! Thanks again to all of you who have helped me sort things out as a new walleye fisherman. Very grateful! If you heard two guys hooting and hollering in thier boat today it was us!!

And more fun!
Boxed one 7 lb fish today early on a harness and 30 jet back 105 feet on a board. Disappointingly lost 4 others over the course of the following 6 hours. Pink/black/purple harnesses in 30-35 fow. Ran two #0 dipsys with our 30 jets today. They were back 220 and 230 ft. We lost most of our fish on these sets. I'm blaming it on the hooks I used in tying my harnesses. Curious to know what you guys use and if you use a treble for the bottom hook on yours? Having a blast and burning lots of gas!
