This is a bad idea, it is more about profits than green energy who know what impact this may have on fish or other wildlife that migrate the great lakes in general. Some will argue it could creats structure but what effects will the high magnetic / electrial fields generated have on fish. I am sure boundrys will be set up to keep people at a distance by the DHS. As a whole we will all lose if they are built. Get all to speak out against this.

I'm sure there will be a large portion of our prime fishing grounds restricted to boat activity if this happens. (The game will go something like this, We're only putting in a few) yeah sure maybe today, then in five years there be hundreds out there. Politicians will say look at the low cost energy will get here in WNY, LOL bull, maybe down state will, not us. Had one STWA member tell me at Walleye weight station last tournament he was for it (structure he said) same guy said he was thinking about running for STWA President

I agree with anchor wheel it should be serious as it is, but we must get behind or join with the people that we think are in our best interests for the good of what we believe in, a few people talking about a subject is a start but join a collation and trust them to deliver your message, and not be fooled in voting for them only to have it put right in our back, safe act ?????????????

The only people that make out are the companys that build them. They get federal money & grants. It takes 20 yrs. to get money back due to the building & maint. costs. We did alot of work with them out in Sheldon area when they were being built. I say put them on land but keep them out of the lakes.

    More structure - Good
Turning Blades - Bad - kills seagulls
Limits access around them - Bad
    Electromagnetic fields - Bad
Rich companies that get richer - Bad
    We don't benefit - Bad

There is more Bad then good. No way to agree to these. Keep them out!

    Talking I have an Idea

Now I know this is deep thinking but why not build a wind farm on the Vacant steel plant property wonder why our powers to be didn't think of this Maybe not enough money would be extracted from the Tax payers doing something smart.
