Not being that much of a walleye guy, I stopped by mostly just to meet some people and put some faces behind some of these names LOL. (although I think only 3 people from here went) I haven't tied a worm harness in 20 years, and was just glad I didn't stick a hook in my finger in front of people...

I got there a little late (closer to 4:30), but it was super interesting. You basically had a table of guys who love walleye fishing, sitting around talking about walleye fishing, what worked, types of worm harness, other baits, conditions, you name it, etc. A lot of fun and some good stories!
Very informative too I'm really glad I went, look forward to the next one.

Actually it wasn't a good date to have it. It's a holiday weekend and many had plans, out of town, etc. And if the weather was better we would be out fishing. We talked about that also. There will be more and better days in the future. that's what the president said

Joe it was nice meeting you too, I'll be sure to say hi if I see you at the launch. Also I wanted to say thanks to fishkiller, he brought all of his supplies and gave people some of his line, hooks, etc to tie up their own worm harness using the exact gear that he uses, that was really nice of him. We had a small enough group that made this possible, in the future there may be too many people for this to work... Out of pure luck, I sat between him and another charter boat captain, and probably learned 2 years worth of fishing knowledge just by listening.
