Yesterday my dad saw 8 all does missed on the biggest ones, my wife saw 7 no shots (running or too far) and I saw a spike (20 yds)but no buck tag left. Today my wife missed a decent buck at first light at 51 yds broadside standing still (buck fever I think),so I go over to her at 8:30 too look for any sign of a hit but a miss. So I jump in the stand with her at 8:45 by 9:30 we were getting wet from the 3" of wet snow that fell so I call my dad on the radio to tell him we were gonna get down, he comes back and says to stay put he had 5 deer 200 yds below him in the thick stuff. 3 minutes later he calls me and says they are headed our way, I spotted them right away (out about 250Yds) my wife couldnt see them in the snow they were coming right at us, so she finally seen them at about 150 yds they come into about 110 yds and she dumps a 140 lb slob doe and I dump one of the other ones as soon as she shot. 2 does down in 5 seconds, awesome day!! The funny thing about the whole thing is she missed a text book shot on the buck and put a hell of a tough shot thru some thick stuff on that doe right in the neck, she shoots a savage .243.
