Gotta chime in,
I always bought GM and had a few Fords and my parents too. Always try to buy American whatever it is when you can find it. In 2012 I was shopping a pickup and looked at another GM and then a Toyota. Even know the Toyota's had better ratings, better longevity and hold more then 20% of there value compared, I still had a concenous on the US built thing. That was until the day test drove a Tacoma and asked as we pulled around back, what all the frames were for? He told me in the late 90s and early 2000s Toyota had some bad Tacoma frames (rusting out) and they were replacing them or the whole truck wether you were the original buyer or not. I bought a Toyota! Don't kid yourself, None Of the Big Three Would Ever Do That Or Have Done It for there Consumers.
