Heard there was still bait at Foot of Ferry.

They are by the boat launch and along the wall at ontario

Went out with the grandson on the 3rd and fished 63FOW between SP and the Cat. Brought home 42 that were keepers. Alot in the 12" range, but we also threw back "many" small fish. It seemed like we would get 3 or 4 dinks then a good one. All on live minnows. I tried some of my salted but only got a couple. Hoping to take the kids out again this week. I'll post if we do well.

Hello all, I am new to the lake and I would like to get into some perch, I have a general idea on how to fish them but how do you find them and know where to fish

I have never fished for perch on Lake Erie, but I would love to get into it, I know to use bottom rigs with emerald shiners but how do you find the fish? Any help would be much appreciated.

Look for them laying on the bottom with your fishfinder, start looking around 55-60 fow set the anchor, catch fish!

Thinking perch will be my next trip west . Hopefully they'll be as cooperative as the walleye were. To make the fall fun and worth while. Hope reports start coming in soon of successful trips good luck all and let us know how it goes when your out..

Any reports of any perch moving into the Upper River? I know it's early but I'm getting anxious.

Caught more perch than walleye this morning trolling harnesses for eyes, I think next Tim I'm gonna go for perch, 70-75 fow in front of silver creek, marked schools after schools of em on bottom
