Went out of SP today at about 9:30. Drove into the waves to 1/2 way between Seneca and Myers. Trolled with the waves going west. One quick one on 3 color lead core. Then a dry spell. Had many hits - sliver bass, perch. We continued trolling west to SP. Ended up with 7 walleye, one perch. One small throw back walleye. We saw fish all the way along the route. There are fish all along the lake. We got them on dipsys, lead core, jets, downriggers.

    Default frustration

Fished out of Sturgeon this am. Headed east to Meyers. Marked fish early but no takers after that it was a silver bass day. Tried harnesses, bottom bouncers, stickbaits, jets, dipsys... threw the tackle box at them. No takers. Very frustrating. Didn't see any other fish caught either. What speeds are you all trolling at? I was between 1.5 and 2 most of the day. Curious to know if anyone else had better luck out there?

Went out of SP this morning. Set up an out 2 miles east. Trolled east to Myers. Trunked around and came back. Boxed 7. Threw 2 small ones back. Lost one at the boat. Most came off lead core. 3 & 5 colors. Used worm harnesses.

Slapshot, you need to be able to adjust and cover the whole water column right now. Prospect all of it and adjust to what working. They progress deeper generally as the sun gets higher. What works works! Color, depth, ext. Harnesses have been best for us so far at 2.0 gps average. Yesterday we marked a whole lotta fish in 35-48ft of water right out the south gap of sbh.
