He lost his keys to the cement truck lol. He said something to me about getting some fishing equipment from somewhere. Something about a barn or a boat and a window of opportunity. Hahaha

Went to the show, and got there about 1:00.
Seen Robbie, Jim, and their better halfs. Not a ton of walleye stuff there, but lots of Lake Ontario Salmon/Trout stuff. Pick up a couple of Renoskis from a booth, and some snap swivels from Jim.
The weather was REALLY bad. Robert Moses was a lot of black ice. On the way home I stopped at the foot of Ferry to see how the netting looked for minnows. Lots of big chunks of ice floating around in the netting area, but it can be done. I wasn't about to try in that 40 mph gusting wind. Couple of cars had a hard time getting back onto Niagara St. because of the 1 to 2' of snow on the road between the bridge, and Niagara St.
I actually witnessed 3 accidents on the way home. One was a 5 to 8 car accident on the 190-S, near Hamburg St. Happened about 75 yards in front of me, and was a real Mongolian Cluster, weaving through all the skidding cars, and trucks. There were back bumpers, broken lights, and mangled cars with hoods bent up at 90* all over the highway. There was another on the 190-S about 50 yards in front of me, but it was a single truck, practicing his dance moves. Some how he missed everyone around him, but one other truck skidded to a stop about 2 feet from his passenger door. He was facing 90* to traffic, in the middle lane when he was done dancing...
The last one was on Clinton St. near Union. The car went head on into guard rail right behind my truck, after he started loosing it right next to me coming from the other way ! The guard rail he hit was on my side of the road !! )

I was glad to get home unscathed !! Those could have been expensive lures, and snap swivels !!

Oh Yea, I just checked my barn doors, and windows. Their all locked up safe for now...
And the Pit Bull was still hungry...

When the cold winds blow and we're covered up in snow,
I’ll be on the ice a' Fishin’, down through a hole.
When the ice goes out and the days get hot
I’ll be out there a fishin’, in the same damn spot.

    bailey..

Just sent an order to "Barbs". They changed their co. name to Backwater, but those are some really nice blades they have.

I better hide THAT receipt !! They add up fast !!
Wow, when I woke up this morning, I didn't know I needed 50 more blades !!
It must be one of them "Gettin' Old" things...

Just put a hurting on about a pound and a half of perch filets, can you say stuffed and 3 big taters cut into fries. Nailed it i never do the same breading twice this one was a blend of seasoned crumbs, house autry medium hot, a handful of real parmesan, black pepper and emerils essence. I hit egg wash with essence and salt n pepper also. Yeah it was that good.

I was disappointed in my 3 d blades this year. Almost all of them flaked or completly lost paint on first dunkings this past season. The old ones held up but all the new ones had issues.

Bailey I think you me your old man n brother need to go put some perch on the ice soon. Maybe the sand piles or something. Fresh perch fillets is all I can think of since you brought it up. Lol. I woke up craving it this morning
