how is fishing in buffalo

It wasn't the walleyes that the wind pushed in to the Buffalo water it was the huge pods of spiny water fleas that were pushed in. Then the emerald shiners and smelt came in to feed on them, which in turn brought in the walleyes. We had a big NE blow on July 20th that pushed the fleas towards the Catt and Dunkirk. After July 20 we caught all our fish between the Catt and Dunkirk.

I did notice fleas on lines this year. More than usual.

I noticed a LOT of flies in the mouths of perch that I caught this year.
