Fishon - Take a few measurements. You do not want it in the water when you are on plane. It will cause a lot of drag and the prop will rotate (if in neutral) or if in gear cause more drag along with the skeg. Mine is just slightly above the water when on plane. I agree with Fishkiller for rough water. If you are buying it from a dealer he can stear you in the right direction. I should see you tomorrow. Keep in mind that when adding the added weight the transom will sit slightly lower in the water.

Work is a wonderful thing i just got home tonight like 10 min ago. Gotta make hay when the sun shines so to say. I am not complaining i like hrs i am a fool like that. Its better than a layoff at this point I've got work thru the end of feb. I am in roch at roch optical then to gram mfg and may end up at fbi offices in Syracuse to yet seems how my homeland security clearance finally came thru today
