I bet there will be many boats on the market - cheap. Coming from the east coast. Slightly used, wind blown, tossed, minor damage, water logged, fixer uppers, etc. It tough looking at the devistation of the homes and boats and lives all over the areas hit by SANDY. Reminds me of an old girl I used to know.

I took a ride by Sturgeon Pt. this morning. There were two boats out on the lake. It was misting / light snow with a little bit off wind. There was one launching dock in and a few signs "very low water" & "sandbar at mouth of harbor". I couldn't tell how deep it was at the mouth. Anyone going out of the Small Boat Harbor?

Thanks Joe for the info, if weatherman is correct (ha) I may sneak out fishing on tuesday, good to hear there is still a dock in. Those "very low water" signs have been there a while, I'm thinking with all the rain we had it has to be a little deeper than a couple of weeks ago.
The weather buoy has been pulled for the year btw.

I saw that about the Weather Buoy. It's a sad day. They must have closed the shipping season for the year. I think that when they put it out of service for the year. I check that info 10 times a day.
