CARP, has anyone heard or seen of a 76# carp being caught? A guy told me yesterday that his father caught a 76# carp on 10# test line. I believe he said on Grand Island somewhere. He said it measured 42" high when on it's belly. That's a big ass carp and would have been something to see! I would think it would be some kind of record?

We had a great time and a big thanks to Jim for the invite. I have picked up a lot from Jim over the years. Going fishing with or just listening to charter guys who put that many hours in out there will help your fishing. Trust me though, fishkiller is opened minded enough to have me set (and sure I'm not the only one) a few baits my way to see what I'm doing. For the most part our program is very similar.

I will say this...we seem catch a few more when Capt Kim is on board...lol

Was out of Dunkirk today, lake was pretty rough. Got one 18" eater, 75 ft on orange jointed rapala. Gave up as was to rough for me.

The Ultimate Outdoors crew got together again Sunday and this time I was with them , we went on 2 different boats Fishkiller his wife and friends on one boat and Fishfinder his wife and myself on the other . We had a blast 10 color rods were hot , dipsys 175 out on 3 setting and riggers parked in 55 ft range took fish. We went out of the Catt 65 to 70 fow was the depth . The Kishels fish scent worked it's magic and between 2 boats lake erie is less 34 walleye and 5 perch. The split was 15 eyes on our ride and 19 eyes 5 perch to the Fishkiller. What a great day busting chops and catching fish even had Capt Joe in on the fun on the radio. Glad you had a decent day also Joe , I will be out again soon .

Well I had a better than decent day today on the pond. As a matter of fact it was mine, an my crew's best day of the year. A two man limit limit out of SP. 10 color, dipsys, downrigger had a good day. I didn't get releases on the down rigger but when I went to check it there was a fish. You gotta check, check, check. Once the flag went up on the walleye board and then went down. I thought the fish was gone. Nope - it was still there swimming with it. You never know???? Check, check check. In the am 6:30 we had a lot of action and didn't get a break for a goo 1 - 1 1/2 hr. I'm tired. Thank you walleye gods.

We ended up with 3 walleye today. West out of SP. Not as good as it has been. We started late left the harbor at around 11:30. We had a few nice tangles. Lost a port side walleye board and port side TX 44 board but with some crafty driving and luck we got them back. Then we had a nice tangle that we had to get out. It took a long time from fishing. Now I have to restring a few rods and reels. Yeah I can hear Fishkiller laughing. Or should I say gleaming with anticipation of selling $$$$. The screen looked great at times then seen nothing. ????? Oh yeah one perch, a few sheep head, some white perch too.
