Yeah Fishkiller I was woundering where Bailey was. He was quiet for a while. I left Buffalo Thursday and from what I hear I took all the good weather. It took a good 18 hours drive time to get to Orlando. I stayed one night at Columbia SC. and went out to eat at a Sportsbar had the fish of the day ( Mahi Mahi ) the name of it is Bailey's Sports Bar. I took a picture of it to show Bailey. Good luck fishing eveyone.

Sturgeon
The Buffalo News reported that the SP marina will be closed for dredging, starting Monday (yesterday). Does anyone have an idea about when it will reopen? I am hoping to get out for perch this weekend...
Also, thank you Jim for your advice on torpedo's at the WNY outdoors show. I didn't introduce myself, but I did buy a couple of sharks. I am looking forward to giving them a try in the summer.

Talking about marinas and lunch ramps - I drove past a few launch ramps yesterday. I was traveling from Orlando to Clearwater on the Causeway in the Clearwater area. What a beautiful area. There were several launch ramps along the Causeway with boats, trailers etc. around them. But do you want to know what I didn't see? Toll booths for launching. No signs on how much to pay to launch. No body there with their hands out looking for money. What a concept. People are actually getting something for their tax money. I did see a few shore fisherman carrying what looked to be snook.

CaptainJoe, I agree what a concept letting people use OUR natural resources for nothing & they probably have access to them when ever they want to use them year round all for nothing. I feel with the taxes sportsmen pay for hunting & fishing supplies our part is paid for! jmo. I wonder when the Erie basin launch will be opened, all they need to do is move 2 barricades & let us at it.
