lowrance hds gen3?

how do you record your trails do you set them on auto,time,or miles mines on auto, I left sp trolled to the catt on my way back the trail was gone half way to sp
it seems to record only 20 miles or so then starts to delete it self I talked to lowrance they gave me so ideas just wondering what everyone else has their set

Jeff, are you using an add on memory card? I use the largest the unit will support. I think mine is 2 gig.

I'm not using a memory card my hds gen 7 I never lost a trail ever I would go a months before I had to delate it

It can't hurt to add one and see how it reacts. This units internal memory may not be big enough. Does it accommodate an SD Micro card?

yes it can hold two just weird I got to be doing something wrong
