Jeff, are you using an add on memory card? I use the largest the unit will support. I think mine is 2 gig.

I'm not using a memory card my hds gen 7 I never lost a trail ever I would go a months before I had to delate it

It can't hurt to add one and see how it reacts. This units internal memory may not be big enough. Does it accommodate an SD Micro card?
