    Default Walleye out of Cleveland

Has anyone been fishing eyes out of the Cleveland area yet? I'm thinking on heading out this week but haven't heard as to whether they are here yet. Any insight would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Went out tues, water was still discolored and cold. The night bite should be happening off edge water and 72nd. We fished from 6 to about 10:30 from edge water to the gold coast. Had two pull backs, no fish and very few marks.

New to the lake. I fish out of fairport harbor, or at least I'm trying to. I know best way to catch the eyes is trolling deep, but does anyone get out and throw rapalas near rock or near shallows for that matter?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well if the water is calm I am going to head out Tuesday morning I think. It might be a bit early but a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!

Dumb question, but when everyone says " x amount back". Are they referring to feet or yards back?

Default line counter is in feet

a line counter is by feet also I would say to keep true line have all rods with the same amount of line and same line as well line counters are based on mono so using a braid will also be inaccurate do to the dia of the line the old level winds go by passes left to right 1pass is 8ft on average and its 3ft in a yard so 300ft out is 100 yards if try to get a depth you need to take a couple factors speed of boat ,current and what direction dia of line size of lure the jet diver or ball weight ,hope this sheds some light if you want to learn more take a guid out or a chatty captian see you out on 68 grumppy
