The park opens @6 am to get minnows and a launch permit($6), I launch by myself most the time and have no problems, I usually pull my boat as far back as I can at dock before parking trailer. There are three ramps to use, all nice and a few guest docks also, haven't been out all week since been too rough for me, but you can get info from inside bait house or from fellow fishermen as to where to start (look for the boat pack too) Good luck...tight lines
