We picked up one 27inch steelhead of the downrigger set at 53ft in 65fow behind the crib on a watermelon nothern king spoon

Night Magic- Was that an accidental catch or were you fishing for steel? I have a steelhead itch that needs a scratching. thanks for the post.

SPOONTANG, no accident on that siver bullet we had the downriggers out just for them, boards were out for walleye we got 3 of them

Great info Night Magic. Thanks again. I will be heading to the North shore for Eyes and steel this weekend. I can't wait to tie into my first steelie this season.

Try out in 66 ft. The marks are light but we pulled 3 today starting at noon. One was 13 lbs. Going to post picture. One came on a green and silver spoon 95 back on 3 setting the other two came on a chix wing 88 back on 3 setting
