Headed NE out of the marina to 72FOW. Trolled North and picked up 7 real quick. Ran out of them and made a turn. Picked up the other 11 heading back south. Most fish were hugging the bottom with a few suspended in 50-60FOW. We did catch our biggest at about 15 feet attaching the snap weight. Some of the biggest fish we have caught have been in the upper water column cruising. Don?t be afraid to run a couple shallow running baits every so often. Ran 3 and 4 ounce snap weights and dipseys out the back at 0 setting 135 feet back with spoons in green, chrome and chartreuse. Bandits, flickers and deep husky jerks off the snaps in chrome, clown, fire tiger and white/red. Mayflies were horrible first thing this morning. Covered us and the whole boat! Lake was perfect and another great trip.

Tough day out there today. Not sure what is going on but 2 of us only managed to catch 4 walleyes. We tried everything from casting, to bottom bouncers to trolling everywhere from the 00 line all the way out to the 06 line. Caught 6 sheepshead trolling. Does anyone think the lake turned over?

They may have moved shallower from the rain and clouds. Heading up in the morning. We will start looking at 60FOW. They could be around 58 line or closer.
