Depth?
Anyone have intel out of Geneva after the lake flipping? How deep are you finding success?

72' to 74'. fish are stacked at 50' gorging on smelt, all the way into NY. i didn't see any lake flip. water temps still in the high 70's! tight lines!
if you run gear above them you'll catch them.

We went out of Geneva today (8/15) to the "00" line and trolled NW at 2.25 to 3.0 mph sog. Ended up at the "06". Limited out on a nice grade of fish in no time. Double willow worm harnesses were on fire. The thermocline appears to be around 60' with fish above it up to 50'. The fishing right now is incredible! If a rod doesn't fire after a few minutes you wonder what's wrong. This kind of fishing will spoil you.
