We left the Sheffield Lake boat ramp about 6:00 am and headed north to 48 fow. There were marks along the way that we checked but all we caught were dinks and junk fish. When we hit 48 fow, we set rattle tots at 10' and 15' on the starboard side and a #1 dipsy (0 setting) with a gold NASCAR spoon. Before we got the port side set all three went off and it was on! We hauled 'em in as fast as we could set 'em. speed was 2.0 mph. On the port side we ran 800s and another dipsey. The rattle tots got switched out with Bandits as the sun cam up more. The Bandits and 800s had 2oz snap weights and we set 'em as deep as we could at 38-40'. The graph was steady with marks in that 35-40 foot range. We weeded though some smalls and the expected farm animals but by 9 am we had 18 in the box and headed in. I hadn't been out since May and didn't expect much but this was a good day for sure!
