Ashtabula Walleye Small Boat 7-4-20
a lot of marks at 53 FOW found this out coming in
bait fish 20-30 feet down
walleye will usually be under baitfish
fished 60-70 FOW
landed 3 walleye 1 drum
I went North and South maybe I should have went East to West
the lake has changed
walleye seem suspended but baitfish make it hard to tell them apart
spoons and worm harness worked
tried 2-2.3 MPH no hits went to 2.8 MPH all 4 fish caught there
first day this year crankbaits and wobblers zero fish
I got used to going out to 60 - 70 FOW and limiting out
if you are going out on the 5 Th start at 50 - 55 FOW
