Headed out of wards canal about 830. Ran out about 2 miles north of A can started our drift about 8 or 10 boats in the area. Wasn't long and we got a couple shorts then mom hooked into somthing heavy after what seemed like forever she pulled up a nice fat 24incher! Boy was that 70 year old women Happy! Caught it on a neon green Erie derie. Then we hooked up with a couple more 20 in. Nice eaters. Things died off so we moved in a mile or so south of A can picked up 2 more and a couple 8" peach. Waves and wind picked up and mom's back couldn't take anymore so we headed in about 1230. 4 fish caught on the bottom with Erie deries and I caught 1 on a weapon. All in all a great morning! There's only so many days to make memories with parents and I cherish every one. Fish on folks!!
