one off the windmills
Hi everyone, I am a newbie to this site. I appreciate all the info, and thanks to all who are willing to share their experience with beginners like me! Between work and having younger kids life gets pretty busy, but I am happy to be able to get out when I can (usually several times over the summer). With walleye fishing, I am at the stage where I'm always still very glad to even get one fish to the boat! Looking forward to reading through a bit more here, and I see some of you are SWA members. My son has the kid membership, and I have been meaning to try to get to a meeting and join sometime myself. Looking to learn more and improve in the years ahead.
I did get out this evening and managed to hook one smaller 'eye off the windmills in about 38 fow (guessing a 2010 year class given the size). 5 chartreuse beads and a colorado blade, the same (and only) pattern that I ended up catching all of my walleyes on last year. Saw lots of interesting marks, but no other takers... Earlier I tried 26-45 fow off Myers but nothing was doing.Last edited by NateD; 06-11-2012 at 06:54 AM.
