Weekend weather
I have been monitoring three different sites that I normally use and the forecast keeps bouncing around. Looks like high winds all weekend on iwindsurf but noaa says different. Anyone got plans for this weekend, and info on weather?

Friday looks good in the afternoon Motor Mouth. We had good luck last Friday getting on the water by noon and off by 5.
By the looks of it Capt. Jim, you have the right boat and equipment to stay somewhat comfy when the weather is less than favorable.Last edited by Davesnothere; 03-29-2016 at 12:13 PM.

We are putting the boat in Friday morning and were planning on fishing all weekend. Looks like Friday after should be good. Just have to play it by ear for Saturday and Sunday. Nice thing about the weather, its always changing. There is hope that the winds could prove to be less than they are forecasting right now.

Friday looks good all day if I Wind Surf is correct. Sat and Sun look rough but Monday looks good also. There is nothing that I see in the mentioned days that would stir the lake up really bad but starting Monday evening thru Tuesday early afternoon it sure looks like it could with a strong NE winds blowing for 15 to 18 hours. BossHogg is correct that the weather changes so often that we could expect anything to happen, especially this time of year.

Hopefully it changes. With an in closed hardtop cabinet I stay rather comfy but would like less wind to launch the old mans boat.

IWINDSURF just bumped up the wind for Friday. When those cold fronts move in you usually get more wind.We were hoping to get out Friday afternoon. If higher wind out of west, wonder if hiding on east side of Catawba might hold some fish.

I have been planning on traveling there/ fishing for the first time ever, early next week, Monday - Thursday, and now most of that time period looks like poop with winds from the north. Hard to drive 6 hours one way to tackle those predictions. Very disappointing!
