Come on spring
I purchased a 24 foot Searay (Monique) in mid May of last year and set out to explore the lake. It had been 18 years or so since I had last fished erie and I have to admit I did quit well. Especially fishing for perch in the fall. I can only remember 1 or 2 days from the first of Sept on that I did not limit out on perch. I have jigged for walleye for 30 years or so in Ontario and several inland lakes in Ohio. I must tell you that I can not wait until April 1st when I get my boat back out of storage and try my skills at jigging Erie. A good deal of my success last year is due to the extremely helpful people on this site. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't open up the site and read the reports. I THANK YOU ALL.
