Hello, I have not made it out fishing the lake in a month and probably won't for a few more weeks. I was wondering what the temps currently are and what temp needs to be for the big eyes to come back to the PC area. I generally fish hard spring and fall and ice but save my money during the heat of summer. These chilly nights have got me excited. It may be a early fall if things continue weather wise. What is the golden temp on lake Erie.

There aren't many walleye west of the islands. There was several big schools east down by Lorain but they've headed father east now. I wouldn't look for any catchable amounts of walleyes until October at the earliest. The toughest month to catch walleyes from the islands west is September in my opinion. It's just rare that they are around in any numbers.
