There aren't many walleye west of the islands. There was several big schools east down by Lorain but they've headed father east now. I wouldn't look for any catchable amounts of walleyes until October at the earliest. The toughest month to catch walleyes from the islands west is September in my opinion. It's just rare that they are around in any numbers.
