And we got to talking about the small walleye people had been catching when perch fishing because we caught 8 about 8 inches long. He went on to say that it was great. I ask him to compare it to the 2003 hatch and he said 3\4 of the 2003 hatch! The walleye population got a shot in the arm this year. I hope he is correct!
