I have been wanting to go smallmouth fishing also. New to the lake and not sure where to look for them. Is there a discussion board out there for smallmouth like this one for walleye?

The Bronzebacks are a territorial fish and stay close to a home range, they move around very little they are not the nomads walleye and perch are. Consequently most fishermen are tight lipped about where they go to catch them and will not disclose locations in private conversations let alone on an open forum. It does not take long to deplete their numbers if fishermen constantly take a limit of Bronzebacks from a given spot.
