Geary,
Canadian fishing License-
1. Sport fishing License- 1 Year- $83.27 Limit- 6 walleye, 50 perch (you can only bring 30 back with you in Ohio waters)
2. Conservations fishing licsense-1 Year- $ 51.65 Limit- 2 Walleye, 25 perch.
3. Sport Fishing License 8 Day- $53.54 - Same limits as the Sport fishing license above.
4. Conservation Fishing License 8 Day - $30.53 - Same limits as the Conservation license above.
These four options above all require the purchase of a 3 year outdoor card at an additional cost of $9.68.
A 5th option is a Sport Fishing 1 day license at $23.01. This option does not require the outdoor card purchase and you can keep 6 walleye and 50 perch (30 if you’re returning to Ohio waters.)
I’m becoming license poor-
Hunting license- 24$, 3 Deer tags $64, My wife and I both get Canadian Sport fishing license $166.54, Turkey Tag 24$, 2 Ohio Fishing License- $38, 3 day New York Fishing License- $28

I stand corrected! It appears that you are right! But you and I am not the ones' who will be interpreting and then applying the law. Even the Canadian residents are in disagreement on this topic. Here is what I have found and if taken literally it appears that you are correct.
Check out Question 4 and Answer 4 in the following link fro RCMP(Royal Canadian Mounted Police)! Whether or not this applies to Alien non-residents or not has not been addressed.

Lol....I look at the big picture. It's cheaper to spend $250 a weekend fishing. Otherwise:
1- $100 per hour for a shrink to help me forget about my problems
2 - $300 a month for anxiety medicine
3 - $300 an hour for a divorce attorney (because I'm home all the time and driving the wife nuts)
4 - $400,000 in assets I will lose once the divorce is final even though I paid for a good attorney.
Lol....I have been married to the same woman for 34 year and I attribute it to fishing....lmao....great investment!Last edited by Eyezcrazy; 06-20-2015 at 01:13 PM. Reason: Typo
