Despite the east winds, dad and I decided to head out anyway. Left Catawba around 7:30. Headed out to G-can and trolled toward the impact buoys. Each pass we managed 1-2 fish. Not fast, but managed to get 10. Fish were between 20"-25". Around noon the wind picked up and it became difficult to read the boards. For some reason, the white bass and white perch also picked up, and we could barely keep the lines in the water.

Pulled worm harnesses; 30 ft. back with 1-2.5 oz. inline weights at 1.3mph.

Not many people on the water today.
