No Luck Today

Put in at Catawba and headed out to Green.Mud,mud,mud.Decided to try out by the cans so made the run out and never even set the lines.Mud,mud and whitecaps.Ended up on the west side of South Bass.Trolled with what seemed to be a fleet of charter boats and struck out.Marked quite a few fish but they were not interested in my P-10's and RR's.Did find some good water on the SW corner of S. Bass but decided to call it a day after 5 hours without even a pullback.First trip this year we have struck out.

I feel your pain scubasteve. I dont troll and only jig fish. It is very unusual to get skunked but boy when you do it sure is frustrating. No matter what you throw at em there comes a point when you just have to face it...it ain't gonna happen today. Makes you appreciate those good days even more, Don't it ?
