    the 30/30 method means what ?

    It means let 30 feet of line out, clip on a weight (right now with the p10's they're using 1 ounce), then let 30 more feet of line out.

    What do you use to snap the weight on at 30 feet

    Off shore sells a clip that is actually made for snap weights. You could also use rubber bands half hitched but you will have to break them off each time.

    you can just get the clips or you can usually find the snap on weight kits that comes with different weights and snaps. you can find them at places like cabelas or they have a great set at fishusa.com. just do a search for snap on weights.
