43,297 boats in front of wild wings
Did well considering the boat traffic.3 people.2 big females way up close in 9 ft.all rest small males.fishing slowed after 9am.had a blast.all purple tipped w minnow

Fish that area today. As you said number of boats were unbelievable. We stayed inside pack in 11-12 fow. Three man limit, three hours using hair jigs tipped w/ minnow, purple and white, Jays blades in silver/purple and white.

Are you sure that count was right. Just about walk from boat to boat both days. LOL I should have took a picture on my way thru the groups.
I tried to stay kind of by myself. The boat traffic and the shallow fish bite is short in the morning usually. The fish are there, just move around to find your groove and stick to it. We had a great weekend to fish and the out of state Lic plates in the area shows that Lake Erie is the "Walleye Capital". Size and numbers show the true trophy class fish in the lake.
