There are two liquid cooled sleds with us today and they didn't have any problems. However, I think I would soap the sliders if it was me

soap the sliders
How are you guys soaping you sliders? Has anyone ever had a track freeze to the sliders and not able to free up with throttle up? It happened to me today.

Dont know about the track freezing but had mine melt to the hifax because no snow and the track was to tight. Hit every snow you can find on your journey.pack with snow or ice shavings when you drill holes

Captian Jack! I have been wondering about ice scratchers. I have had a lot of guys tell me that they don't work well. I am really excited to see someone say they do. Can you tell me which ones you use? How often have you driven them on ice with no snow? Any advice would be much appreciated.
I have held off getting any because people tell me that they don't work. However, those guys have never been running them.

Was out late Jan when almost glare ice and for first time had hyfax melt and sled overheat. First time for me, guess I know to find snow and don't just stop and let sled sit once you stop of running hot or no snow, keep track moving until they cool down. We spend 2 hrs beating on the track to free up. Pack a hammer, chisel, wonder bar in case it happens to you.

Thanks for the info. We are getting some snow over here in southwestern MI. So all of us with sleds let's hope Erie gets some of it so we don't have to worry.

I'm sure they've got some over there, but with the wind, it all blows off the ice. I would think there should be some drifts though.
