Ice is thick. About 10-12 inches as of Thursday. Very lumpy ride from all the snow and rain we had in the last week. Although don't know how much snow they had there today. That could determine if quads or only sleds should be there. I went to the 5 mile mark out of Catawba and got stuck in slush. Had to dig myself out and headed back in about a mile and set up. Hope this helps. Maybe one of the locals can let us know how much snow they got there. Good luck.
