Perch and Walleye tomorrow
Going to give it a shot tomorrow... It is supposed to be beautiful and the lunar cycle looks pretty good.
Any reports for both from the Camp Perry firing range West to Monroe that may help? All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Let us know how you do rooster. I'm thinking tomorrow but debating running east to Huron or Vermilion. Haven't heard much from around the islands so I was actually thinking about the ship channel or the turn around buoy for perch but I'd like to troll a little for some walleye if time allows and I'm not sure the channel is the place for that.

Birds and perch
I took two of my sons with me today. We started out a little slow. They did not get out of bed till 9:30.
Once we were on the Lake, we headed to the same area we had been going to for the past 4 weeks. Sonar did not look good, but in 16 feet of water my Lowrance cannot see a very wide patch on the bottom. So we milled around looking for the sign. One stop and check, small yellow perch. Second stop about 10 minutes later. White perch. Back to the exact same waypoint as usual. Up and down, 10's and 6 12's.
Michigan, Ohio line 16 feet in the flat culdesac east of the clutter on the Chart.
Good day with two happy boys. Happy Chinese food guy too. We trade.
Ps, birds were diving on bait just to our south for 4 hours straight. All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Besides the dorsal and gill plate wounds, I cut so many perch, my fingers are shredded from filleting. Power scaler was a big help.
