Perch or walleye
I'm going to visit a friend in Avon Lake next week and Ill have two days to get on the water, Oct 10-11. Any suggestions on what I should expect to find? Perch? Walleye? Both? Any tips and clues would be appreciated. I'm guessing walleyes would be best trolling cranks?
I'd be willing to drive and launch any where from Sheffield Lake to Huron. Only been east of the islands once before and was very limited due to weather so I have next to no experience in the area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Karl

Huron walleye
I suggest you try out of Huron. Very nice launch ramp there and walleye could be in relatively close. You could go east and fish in front of the "Castle" or Cranberry Creek, or go west over toward Cedar Point and fish that area. The walleye action should be getting very good this month.
Be sure to let us know how you do.
