Sturgon?
Last weekend was fishing about 2 miles NW of the intake. Caught a few nice yellows, 6 inch walleyes, big white bass and big white perch. Caught one fish about 10 inches, kinda round and silvery, shaped like a sucker but the mouth was all wrong. I think it was a baby sturgon. Any ideas? Caught a ton of small yellow throw backs.

A sturgeon would have a jagged row down its back and would likely not be silver in color, but black on its back and creamy to brown on its belly. Hell they look like someting out of a dinosaur book. Hard to mistake them.
A picture would help. All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

It would look something like this.
Some may be a bit lighter in clearer waters, but in Lake Erie would be darker. All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Stugon?
Well it was not a sturgon but it was also not an asian carp, sucker, smelt, shad, shiner, carp, quill back. I have fished Ohio waters for all of my 61 years and it had me stumped. Wish I had a picture of it. What ever it was it was healthy and released unharmed. I do not believe it was a foreign species. I seem to remember catching one 50 years ago fishing with my grandpa out of Luna Pier. I don't remember what he called it. Not even 100% sure it was the same.
