skipper9 rig question....
Going out fishing in the am and had a quick question about these. I had planned in trying one tomorrow and wanted to know how these are used after dropping line. Do you let slack in your line after hitting bottom so the rig lies on the bottom or do you just the let sinker bounce up and down on the bottom? Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone .

skipper 9 ?
I start out with the sinker on the bottom. If i lower my rod tip and half inch there will be slack in the line. But if that don't work I'll put on the bottom with slack and lift ever now and then. hoping to fell some extra weight, or some times off the bottom a little. Depends on the fish that day......LOL Hope that helps

I like to leave the line just tight enough to feel a bite but not lift it off the bottom as the boat rolls with the waves so I raise and lower my fishing pole to maintain the line tension.
