Yes the wife and I made it out. We started just north of B-can and caught 7 was real slow. Captain tacky was also close by. His bite died so he motored out of the small pack and found some perch. He gave us a shout and we motored over to where he was fishing and set up caught 2 right away then anchor broke loose, by then the bite had slowed and captain tacky left looking for perch again. We stuck it out and stayed put. After 6+ hours We finally got number 60 at about 3:30. They weighed 19lbs at cleaners.
Ran into a friend at Cutchers and he and his wife had gotten a 2 person ticket at C-can, they weighed 20lbs. He said that one boat over from him caught the biggest perch that he had ever seen. Said it looked like a walleye size wise.
Oh yeah one more important thing, all of our last 40 or so were caught in the mud using a slack line. We also had good to excellent marks under us almost all day. We only caught one junk fish also. Perch are there but just would not bite all that great.Wakina

Thanks. The stinking wind looks like out if the NE tomorrow so gonna be a bit rough. I may try by rattlesnake to get away from some wind. Gonna try some trolling for eyes too. I'm normally on 79.

Good Job Wakania, I thought that spot was good we just wanted a little faster action like it was when we first arrived there, and we normally move around till we find them, we use the screen and when see good marks stop and try. we did get some big fish there sounds like they on bottom as you described that is what we were doing also.
Today I am protecting Northwood as my second job a part time Fireman 24 hr shift !It pays for the boat ! hope to talk my relief into come in early Sunday so we can get out on lake .
