worms
Boat 3 ran worm harnesses Friday with 2oz weight 30 ft back in shallow water with a limit if eyes. I took a limit 5 ft deeper from him with crankbaits.
The entire shoreline , reefs, NE of the reefs to the islands are loaded with eyes. Fish class of 23 to 29 are in those areas as we pulled some Fish O class each day. There are alot of 15 to 20 inch fish also which is most of what people are catching right now. I put some worm rigs behind a dipsey and took a few that way also with 9-10 ft lead behind dipseys.

That is how I take it. I know there has been a bite in close form J, K-can to past Crane Creek area and the head boats have been catching in several different areas inside and out of the firing range. Both drifters and casters have been catching, with the trollers doing a little better than casters due to the amount of water covered.

I sure would like to get into the inner firing range that area in the past was always good this time of year. Trouble is it is almost always being used either for NG or National Rifle Matches. Loved fishing that area with any south wind. We would run into 8 to 10 foot of water and drift out to the round reef area then go back for another drift, almost always caught a limit in those waters.

One thing I am a bit unclear on is how are you guys changing the leads to your harnesses? Are you using slip divers, do you have various length harnesses, or do you just add a length of leader between the diver/inline weight and the harness?
